AIs have democratized programming by effectively adding 25 IQ points to developers’ capabilities, with less competent programmers seeing the largest productivity gains. This reduced barrier to entry, combined with a surge in computer science graduates (credentialism), has led to widespread under-employment.

For decades this study was a staple proof for IQ dysgenics enthusiasts. It confirmed their suspicions that the West was in terminal intellectual decline since selection for fertility reversed in the 19th century. Here, we do our best to debunk this paper.

The UN’s methodology to forecasting fertility has remained largely unchanged. For many countries these forecasts are consistently inaccurate. Here, we attempt to produce a successor. The results could be described as unexpected.
